Hemant Kokularupan is Manager, Student Success at the Bendigo Kangan Institute

Hemant Kokularupan has recently commenced as the new Manager, Student Success at the Bendigo Kangan Institute, playing a key role in ensuring the delivery of an exceptional learning experience for all students.  Working across the whole of the Institute, he will lead wrap around support services and initiatives that support the whole student journey, including responsibility for library and learner support services, counselling and welfare services, transition and pathways.

Hemant brings over 14 years’ experience in leading marketing, customer experience, operations and other key administration functions in the tertiary education sector.  He has actively engaged with and provided advice to executives on all matters concerning customer and student experience, business operations and overall profitability.  In his prior position as General Manager, Student Experience and Customer Engagement at the Chisholm Institute, Hemant implemented a student and client engagement strategy across multiple sites.  He previously led a digital acquisition strategy to diversify recruitment and developed a customer-centric admissions model at Swinburne University of Technology.
