Ms. Denise Patterson has been appointed to the position of Chief Operating Officer with the Royal Children’s Hospital

Ms. Denise Patterson has been appointed to the position of Chief Operating Officer with the Royal Children’s Hospital commencing 30 May 2022. In this position Denise will be responsible for managing the effective high-performing operations of the hospital along with the response to sector operational imperatives and programs.

Denise presents with broad executive experience in the health sector from which she has gained experience in large scale change management, industrial negotiations, work practice reform, cultural change and financial management.

Denise has most recently been engaged with Canberra Health Services where she held roles as COO, Executive Group Manager Quality, Safety, Improvement & Innovation and Executive Director Nursing & Midwifery and Patient Support Services.
