Ms. Heleni Bagiartakis has been appointed to the permanent position of State Manager Carer Gateway with Merri Health following her successful interim engagement through Gig Executive that she commenced in February of 2022. In this position, Heleni will continue to drive fruitful relationships with consortia members and ensure the consistent and efficient provision of person-centered services that meet or exceed requirements set by the Commonwealth funding agency.
Heleni has 20 years’ experience building resilient teams, driving change, and achieving growth. She has a strong professional background leading successful portfolios and has a passion to transform services for our vulnerable population.
Having already been working for Merri Health as the Interim State Manager, Carer Gateway, Heleni has been embedded across all parts of the organisation. She previously held the positions of Strategic Growth & Partnerships with Catalyst Education, and before that while with Fronditha Care, she was Executive General Manager Strategy, Advocacy & Business Development and Executive Manager – Community Services and Planning.
