Ms. Leonie Abbott has been appointed as the inaugural Head of Student Wellbeing, St Kilda Rd campus at Wesley College

Leonie was, most recently, Assistant Director, co-founder and co-editor of Berry Street Education Model at Berry Street.  Previously, she was a Senior Advisor to Independent Schools Victoria as the Wellbeing/Improvement coach. Before her work at ISV, Leonie worked at MLC as, variously, the College Executive Manager Parents Association, the Deputy Head of Middle School, Year Level coordinator, Head of House and teacher of English. She is also a federal board member of the Positive Education Schools Association (PESA).

Leonie has a Master of Applied Psychology degree from the University of Melbourne, a Graduate Certificate of Business Administration from Deakin University and a Bachelor of Education from Ballarat University.  As her membership of the federal board of PESA suggests, Leonie is a very prominent educator in the field of wellbeing.
