An exciting opportunity exists for the role of Chief Executive who will lead and drive the overall performance, growth and profitability of True South Seafood across the New Zealand and Tasmanian sites. Based in Hobart/Christchurch and reporting to the Chair of the Board, you will be responsible for driving growth, continuing to build a strong performance culture and managing employee and stakeholder engagement across both sites. Successfully implementing the strategic and annual operating plan and budget, you will play a key role in building and managing the organisation’s customer base, located mainly in Asia. An experienced and driven leader with a demonstrated track record in the seafood industry and market growth orientation is an essential criterion for success in this position With a strategic mindset, strong operational capability, excellent communication and influencing and negotiation abilities, you will work closely with the Board and divisions in Christchurch and Hobart to achieve the vision of delivering live, fresh or processed seafood to customers that meets or exceeds expectations.
