The Position
Launch Housing is seeking to appoint an outstanding Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide visionary leadership to the organisation and drive performance in every aspect of service delivery.
Reporting to the Board, the CEO will lead the design and implementation of the strategic plan, provide leadership and identify opportunities  to enhance, and contribute to the overall objectives of Launch Housing. Maintaining a strong public profile, delivering improvements  in performance and further strengthening stakeholder relationships across all levels of government, community and corporate agencies, the CEO will represent and advocate for the interests of the organisation’s client base.
You will be an experienced and influential leader skilled in implementing strategy and driving key initiatives. Committed to social justice and with a record of achievement in a complex services-based  organisation, you will have proven ability shaping a client focused organisation, leading advocacy campaigns and driving innovation.
Equipped with well-developed emotional, conceptual, analytical and presentation skills, the CEO will be highly skilled in dealing with complex and sensitive matters. Commercial and financial management experience are essential along with excellent communication skills and the ability to engage in high-level public policy debates.

Formed in 2015 following a merger of two well-respected agencies – Hanover Welfare Services and HomeGround Services, Launch Housing is an independent provider of choice and the ‘go to’ organisation on homelessness for government, media, philanthropy, private donors and the community. Driven by its values of Empowerment, Fresh Thinking, Agility, Leadership and Courage, Launch Housing has an ambitious and singular mission to get people housed, keep them housed and be an influential voice on ending homelessness.
