About the role
Success requires proactively partnering with industry, governments, and workplaces to create social benefits through inclusive employment and procurement. Leading a small, dedicated team with three direct reports, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) reports to the Board through the Chair and is accountable for the management of Jobsbank in line with the strategic plan, key objectives, and the values proposition. The CEO will provide operational leadership and considered counsel and recommendations to the Board across all aspects of Jobsbank’s operations.
Key stakeholders include Victorian Government, corporates, employers, clients, financial supporters, and other aligned social venture partners.
Key performance indicators will include growing the organisation, broadening partnerships, innovation and effective project/program management, and fostering a research and digital platform.
About you
You will come to the role as an inspiring strategic and astute leader who has driven growth agendas aligned with positive social and economic outcomes.
Your capabilities will include proven relationship and stakeholder engagement, superior communication and interpersonal skills, business development, commercial acumen and high-level representation and advocacy.
Understanding and experience in government, not-for-profit and/or social enterprise sectors is desirable, and relevant tertiary qualifications ideally in marketing, business, or other commercial disciplines are advantageous.
