The position
The dynamic and evolving community services provider, Annecto, has grown steadily across the eastern seaboard of Australia and the organisation is well-positioned for further growth and expansion. To support this next phase of development, Annecto has created a new leadership position, that of Chief Operating Officer (COO), and seeks to appoint a highly talented and ambitious individual.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and sitting within the Executive Leadership Team, the COO will oversee the delivery of Annecto’s disability and home based aged care services, ensuring that they are high quality, person centered and financially viable. A key responsibility will be to consolidate existing multi-jurisdictional operations under the one management structure. Another key element of the role will be to apply a commercial and innovation lens to development of new products and services ensuring that they meet a greater customer need.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned operational leader who has a track record of continuous improvement and growth in service delivery within consumer directed care environments. Equipped with senior level experience, they will have the proven ability to build high performing teams and embed a culture of learning and development. Driven and ambitious, commercial and innovative, they will be highly analytical and will have outstanding skills in negotiating, motivating, influencing and building relationships. The successful candidate will present as warm, ethical and agile and will have a genuine desire to work in the space of human rights, inclusion and empowerment across multiple states.
This position could be based in either Melbourne or Sydney.

Clients of Annecto include people with disabilities, older people, families and carers who want advice, advocacy and support. Annecto delivers supports, services products and other initiatives that promote social and economic inclusion.
Annecto has grown from small beginnings in the Western suburbs of Melbourne and currently works across most of metropolitan Melbourne, in the Loddon Mallee and Grampians regions of Victoria, Metropolitan Sydney, Mid North Coast, ACT, Sunshine Coast and Orana Far West Regions of New South Wales.
