Director, Australian APEC Study Centre
RMIT are seeking a dynamic and innovative executive leader who can take the centre forward in line with the APEC agenda, Australian government programme and APEC member nations. The Director, Australian APEC Study Centre is responsible for driving the strategic direction of the Centre and its staff through the identification, engagement and delivery of commercial and research contracts and fostering business with relevant organisations for the advancement of the APEC, G20, OECD and MICTA agendas.
Working in conjunction with the Centre’s Advisory Board, Centre Chairman and RMIT College of Business leadership, the Director will drive the leadership of business development, marketing and communications measures to increase the domestic and international profile of the Centre, College of Business and RMIT through domestic and international networks, partnerships and other high profile activities.
The Director will build on the strong foundation of the Centre’s capability to deliver innovative programs, capacity building, dialogues and centre Alumni engagement, through technology, digital channels and face to face delivery. Paramount to the success of the role, the incoming Director will offer strong external relationships across Australian and International government, public and private sectors. This unique opportunity is suited to a dynamic and innovative thought leader with a strong commercial orientation and demonstrated success in delivery of programs.
