The Position
The Jean Hailes Foundation seeks to appoint an outstanding lead clinician to manage and further develop all of the organisation’s clinical operations.  This includes management and oversight of the two existing clinics, maintenance and continuous improvement of the organisation’s clinical quality assurance framework, and the expansion of the reach of Jean Hailes clinics into new locations.  In addition, the role will take the lead on relevant media and advocacy issues in collaboration with the Head of Media and Communications.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the appointee will be responsible for overseeing 40 clinical staff.  Outstanding leadership skills and demonstrated experience in managing change and quality assurance frameworks within a clinical environment with be crucial for success.
The ideal candidate is likely to be an active, practising clinician, with a primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and extensive clinical experience in the area of women’s health. With a commitment to the professional development of staff and a contemporary understanding of how to manage risk in a clinical context, the appointee will have the demonstrable strategic capability to lead and expand Jean Hailes’ clinical operations.
