The Position
AV have undertaken to develop a safety first culture where the health, safety, wellbeing and capability of all staff is front and centre of all response action plans. The primary purpose of this role will be to implement the AV Health and Safety strategy and put the organisation on a pathway to building safety resilience. Programs will include manual handling, psychological injury and occupational violence.
Reporting to the Executive Director People and Culture, the appointee will have a strong technical background in WHS legislation and rehabilitation management with the proven ability to influence a team of experts and challenge the status quo.  Regarded as a natural leader the appointee will possess strong strategic and communication capabilities.
