The Director Infrastructure and City Services is responsible for leading and managing Council’s infrastructure and amenity services to achieve Council’s goals.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will provide leadership and oversight of the Council’s significant capital works program, the built environment and city infrastructure and services.  This role leads a team across the following areas:

  • Asset and Property Services
  • Engineering Services
  • Facilities and Major Projects
  • Operations Group
  • Urban Design

 

As a key member of the executive leadership team you will bring accountability, collaboration, outstanding leadership and communication skills to make a positive impact in the organisation and for the community.

To be considered you will have experience in developing and maintaining a positive operations culture and champion strong safety practices.  You will be politically astute, thrive in building relationships, and possess effective capital management and project delivery skills to support Council’s involvement in initiatives such as the $135 million Sunshine Precinct Development and the Albion Station redevelopment.

A strong awareness of sustainable and contemporary infrastructure and service delivery practices are required to support Council’s continued commitment to address climate change.
