The Position
This executive position, through building strong partnerships and collaborating with multiple stakeholders, leads and has strategic responsibility for key information services within the organisation. The role delivers on operational timeliness, accuracy and accessibility of information as well as providing advice on streamlining data activities to build organisational success. It requires both effective business as usual and a pragmatic future build.
Reporting to the Deputy Secretary, Corporate and Regulatory Services the role will work closely with the CIO and will lead a large diverse team to steer the directorate over the next three years.
A visionary leader who can bring about change will take this important function forward. Proven experience in leading complex and sensitive data collection, data quality assurance and information sharing is required. The successful candidate will demonstrate a track record in complex program management, be a capable written and verbal communicator and a credible organisational partner who influences both within and externally to the organisation.
An ICT project delivery background would be beneficial coupled with significant organisational and change management experience. A relevant tertiary qualification is expected.
