The position
The Royal Children’s Hospital is currently seeking to appoint a senior executive to the position of Executive Director People & Culture to lead the ongoing development of a responsive, innovative and strategic People and Culture service.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this position will be a key member of the RCH executive team. Responsibility will focus on developing and implementing a tactical workforce approach for the promotion of a positive culture, employee engagement and ensuring strategic organisational and service delivery goals are met. The Executive Director People & Culture will take carriage of all aspects of strategic HR, Work Health and Safety, Organisational Development and Workforce Capability, the Early Learning Centre, Wadja Aboriginal Family Place and the Library.
With proven experience in effectively leading HR Management, the successful candidate will be skilled in contemporary HR practices focused on recruitment service delivery, organisational culture change, employee and industrial relations, workforce development and planning, and workplace health and safety. Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative partnerships and stakeholder relationships are vital. Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline are essential.
