The Position
As Royal Freemasons continues to make a positive difference to the lives of older people across Victoria, the organisation seeks to appoint a dynamic and customer-oriented leader to be its new Executive Director – Quality, Safety & Innovation. Building on the well-developed data and evidence the organisation has gathered to date, the incumbent will continue to foster and embed a strong culture of excellence in service quality and clinical risk management throughout the business to ensure outstanding quality of life outcomes for Royal Freemasons’ consumers as well as exceptional job satisfaction for Royal Freemasons’ committed staff.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the Executive Team, this position will contribute across the entire business. Ensuring a systematic approach to monitoring, evaluating, learning from and reporting on the quality of services, the role will lead accreditation as well drive a strong focus on capturing data and using it to evolve services. The importance of this role is evident in its direct link to Royal Freemasons’ core values around commitment to customers, innovation and learning as well as standards and viability.
The ideal candidate will be a systems thinker who has proven experience leading quality, governance, compliance and change in complex health and/or human services environments. They will have a well-developed ability to analyse and leverage data coupled with a high degree of problem-solving skills and risk management skills. They will evidence a record of developing and implementing systems and processes that comply with relevant Standards as well as a record of identifying, designing and implementing improvements in business process which have achieved measurable improvement in customer service and satisfaction. Outcome driven and possessing exceptional people management skills, the appointee will be recognised as an inspiring communicator and a powerful champion of the customer.
Working knowledge of best practice in aged care is advantageous as is clinical qualifications.
