The Position
TAFE SA is seeking to appoint a dynamic and collaborative leader to the position of Executive Director – Quality, Teaching and Learning to deliver outstanding and contemporary academic outcomes in a rapidly changing market. This role will play an integral role in leading the quality and compliance agenda across TAFE SA and ensure the delivery of an outstanding learning experience for students.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Executive Director – Quality, Teaching and Learning will manage the planning and evaluation of programs across TAFE SA to ensure delivery is focused on the quality of teaching and assessment. With a strategic commitment to invest significantly in quality systems across the organisation, the new Executive Director will champion best-practice systems and approaches across the educational delivery stream and play an integral part in driving TAFE SA’s vision to be Australia’s leading vocational education and training provider.
With proven success in a large and complex learning environment, you will be somewhat of a hands-on, self-motivated and resilient individual with demonstrated experience in leading the provision of quality, teaching and learning. You will need to have demonstrated experience working at an executive level in the tertiary education and/or VET sector with experience in managing multiple stakeholders and successfully negotiating and developing initiatives to positively impact the organisation.
