The Position
This newly shaped role of Executive Director Strategy and Impact (EDSI) is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and will lead a division to comprehensively understand, evaluate and effectively communicate the impact of headspace on individuals, families, communities and broader health systems.
As a strategic leader, the EDSI will report to the CEO and lead the development and execution of organisational strategy that enables continuous improvement. With an enterprise wide focus, the role will position headspace as a platform for Government to build accessible and high-quality general health, mental health, alcohol and other drug and vocational services for young people. Leading a team that monitors and evaluates the performance of headspace’s nationally run services and through deep and effective stakeholder management, the role will enhance the profile and communicate the policy positions of headspace.
To be successful you will have contributed to organisational leadership at an executive level and have had exposure to the continuum of care and service delivery across the human services sector. With strong analytical capability that facilitates and translates national program evaluation, coupled with leadership of organisational strategic planning, you will offer highly collaborative communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Relevant Masters level qualifications in fields such as public health, health economics, or business is preferred and credibility in mental health is highly desired, but not essential.
