The Position
As an ambitious and innovative provider of services in their sector, Benetas seeks to appoint a Finance Manager to drive high performance of operational finance functions. This position will play a key role in assisting the CFO with implementing strategic and operational plans, delivering outcomes at an exciting time for the business with the launch of the Next Generation Strategy.
Reporting to the CFO, and together with a team of 20 employees, the Finance Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounting functions, taxation obligations and payroll. Developing positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensuring continuous improvement of finance practices is a critical element of the position.
The successful candidate will be CA/CPA qualified and will possess tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or Business as well as significant experience in corporate financial accounting and planning. In addition to being commercially astute, the appointee will have natural capabilities and demonstrable experience in creating a high-performance culture with a proven record of driving improved performance, capability and confidence in a finance team.  An enterprise thinker, the Finance Manager will also have a recognised ability to develop and maintain highly effective governance processes. Previous experience in a health or aged care setting is essential and knowledge of EPICOR Senior Living Solutions and EPICOR Financial Accounting Package is desirable.
