The Position
The prestigious Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (Peter Mac) seeks to appoint a dynamic and talented operations specialist, who is first and foremost an exceptional people leader, into the position of General Manager Cancer Imaging.
As a member of the Cancer Imaging Executive Management Committee and reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the General Manager Cancer Imaging will maximise the capability of a highly talented and capable team who manage the human, financial and equipment resources in the Division.
The successful candidate will possess superior influencing, negotiation and mediation skills and will be known for building high functioning and high performing teams. Presenting with well developed conceptual and analytical capability coupled with strong commercial acumen and financial management ability, the appointee will also demonstrate sound knowledge of and a solid commitment to the utilisation of business analytics and will also have a good understanding of referral systems and revenue generation. This position has flexibility for a 4 or 5-day week. Relevant tertiary qualifications required.
