The Position
The South Australian Department for Education is seeking to attract an emerging and inspiring leader to the role of Head of Campus for the School of the Air (SOTA).
As part of the Open Access College, SOTA plays an important and critical role in addressing educationally disadvantaged students in South Australia who are unable to attend school in person or to access aspects of the full curriculum at their local school.  The School of the Air, located in Port Augusta, catering from reception to Year 7 geographically remote students, provides dynamic and innovative teaching and learning programs.
The successful incumbent will participate as a member of the Port Augusta/Quorn Partnership, providing valuable access to networking and professional learning opportunities. Working with a highly experienced and progressive leadership team you will have the opportunity to further develop your leadership skills as Head of Campus, SOTA and as a member of the Open Access College Executive Leadership team, contributing to innovative distance education programs across South Australia.
The Head of Campus will be a results-focused, collaborative leader who drives continuous improvement in teaching and learning outcomes of remote students. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with instructional leadership coaching skills, as well as the capability to lead innovation and change. Building strong and effective partnerships with community stakeholders will be critical to the success of the role.

About the Open Access College, School of the Air
The College is a leader in distance education and operates from Campuses located in Adelaide and Port Augusta.
Port Augusta is located approximately 300 kilometres north of Adelaide and is situated on the quiet waterways at the head of the Spencer Gulf, in close proximity to the spectacular Flinders Ranges.
