Head of Education Delivery

The Position
Provide strategic leadership ensuring the relevance, quality and consistency of education delivery as it relates to the education curriculum, to maintain AICD’s premium reputation and meet the expectations of members and clients.
Reporting to the General Manager Education and International, the Head of Education Delivery is primarily responsible for providing strategic leadership on best practice education delivery. This includes partnering with a faculty of leading governance experts; overseeing all assessment and evaluation processes; and collaboratively working across the business to ensure the relevance and quality across the entire education curriculum the AICD delivers nationally and internationally.  Maintenance of the AICD’s premium reputation and meeting the expectations of members and clients is paramount.
With three direct reports and leading a highly skilled team, as Head of Education Delivery you will be an experienced Educationist and possibly a practising Director and graduate of the AICD.  A strong, collaborative leader and mentor, you have had a successful and extensive executive career in education training/teaching, preferably in a membership or professional services organisation.  You have deep understanding of the rigours of assessment, facilitation and planning; you have managed a cohort of aligned delivery experts and have seen education from the inside and are mature, resilient and experienced at leading teams.
With strong communication and interpersonal skills, superior written and presentation skills and emotional intelligence that complements your understanding of the education cycle.  An influencer and negotiator, you are skilled at working with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.  You have demonstrable expertise in continuous improvement, a commitment to quality delivery and a passion for contemporary education is essential to success in this position. Commercial acumen and attention to detail will stand you in good stead.
A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related discipline is required.
