The Position
Gippsland Grammar School seeks to appoint an exceptional and inspirational leader to the position of Head of Secondary at its Garnsey Campus The Head of Campus will play a key role in further growing and developing the Senior campus and will report to the Principal, Ms Leisa Harper, and play a key role as a member of the Leadership Team.
The Head of Secondary is responsible for the educational leadership and operational management of the Senior Campus, ensuring the strategic direction of the School is maintained and objectives and policies are in alignment. The campus currently encompasses 650  students across years 7-12.  Key areas of focus for the incoming Head will include the transition for students from Junior School to Senior School, embedding a new structure and strengthening the approach to wellbeing and pastoral care.
The successful candidate will have outstanding interpersonal skills and exhibit a supportive and collaborative management and leadership style that nurtures, challenges and inspires students and staff.  Presenting with a strategic mindset, the ideal Head will display high energy and strong influencing skills and work collaboratively to develop a whole school view with other Heads of Campus. The appointee will actively support the School’s contemporary and holistic approach to learning and display a genuine desire to engage with this progressive and thriving community.
