We are seeking expressions of interest for the Council’s next Manager, People and Culture who will play a pivotal role in the City’s good to great journey to commence in early 2023.
The Position
The City of Whitehorse is transforming to enhance service delivery, further develop the organisational culture, upgrade technology and improve organisational efficiency and customer experience. One of the first steps undertaken in Council’s transformation during 2020/21 was an organisational restructure, aiming to better align related Council functions and services.
Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and senior management, the Manager, People and Culture provides strategic leadership to deliver desired organisational change and whole of employee life cycle support and processes.
Reporting to the Director, Corporate Services, this position has three direct reports and leads a team of specialists responsible for providing HR services, workplace relations, recruitment, health, safety and wellbeing, and organisational cultural development.
