The Position
Southern Cross University (SCU) is seeking to appoint a dynamic and contemporary Group Lead and Professor of Nursing to the School of Health and Human Sciences. This role will champion the academic leadership of the School’s nursing portfolio during a time of significant growth.
Working closely with the Head of School and Deputy Head of School, the Group Lead will monitor and improve the program’s teaching and learning performance while working closely with Course Coordinators to guide the development of quality academic course materials and assessments. This role will also have oversight of accreditation and professional experience activities as they apply to the nursing discipline.
The Group Lead Nursing will play a key role in representing the School in partnership arrangements with health providers within the regions and sits on a number of school committees and projects.
With a doctoral qualification in Nursing you will bring to this role a successful and established record of academic and administrative leadership.
Your experience will demonstrate your strengths in people management, communication and inspiring excellence amongst your colleagues. As well as your ability to foster positive relationships and engage with relevant health and industry bodies.
Evidence of an established research reputation, a strong track record of teaching excellence and experience leading quality course development is also key.
