The Position
Ambulance Victoria seeks to appoint a collaborative and driven Program Lead, to join its newly established Equality & Workplace Reform Division.  The Program Lead, will play a key leadership role in designing, coordinating and improving Ambulance Victoria’s program of work to create a safe, fair and inclusive workplace.  The program of work will initially focus on delivering the reforms recommended by the Victorian Equal Opportunity & Human Rights Commission in its Independent review into workplace equality at AV.
Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, Implementation, the Program Lead will manage the end to end design, delivery and operational aspects of projects and facilitate cross-divisional stakeholder engagement and interagency project and governance reporting. Using evidence-based codesign and change management principles, the Program Lead will deliver positive and targeted culture change outcomes that strengthen fairness and transparency across the organisation.
The successful candidate will display creativity and innovation in the implementation of equality and workplace reform strategies and solutions and achieve outcomes through collaboration and being a champion of workplace equality priorities.  With exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, the Program Manager will establish, develop and nurture relationships across the organisation, as well as with external partners. In addition, the Program Manager will have previously gained experience in an environment where they have displayed conceptual thinking and problem solving skills to constructively challenge and improve processes and approaches.  Adaptability, self-motivation and modelling of ethical and positive behaviours, consistent with the values of Ambulance Victoria, will be key in the success of this role.
