Mind is changing its operational structure from regional divisions into three specialised service streams: Sub-acute residential partnership services, Supported independent living and Mind centres. The service stream approach supports our organisational value to be customer focused in everything we do, ultimately providing the customer with a better Mind experience. Mind is seeking to appoint a number of senior leadership professionals to be part of the new service stream operations management team.
The Position
As a member of the Operations Leadership Group, the State Manager Victoria will advise the Executive Group on the operational imperatives, risks, systems issues and emerging trends inherent in the service delivery streams in Victoria. Equipped with outstanding interpersonal
skills, the appointee will lead and manage the Victorian Operations Team to deliver quality, person-centered services consistent with Mind’s values, approved systems, policies and procedures and achieve service performance and budget targets.
Promoting brand recognition to the community and key stakeholders in local service locations, the ideal candidate will be commercially astute and ensure service hubs are best practice whilst establishing and maintaining strong strategic relationships with stakeholders including; State and Commonwealth Government representatives, health services, customer groups and other relevant organisations. A proven track record within the mental health system and appropriate tertiary qualifications in a health related field are essential.
