The Position

Manager Customer & Transformation will be responsible for leading the unit and working collaboratively to ensure that strategic and operational plans and program are developed, reviewed and implemented to drive improved customer experience, corporate performance and service improvement across the whole Shire.

The role will be responsible for the delivery of frontline customer services and the development and implementation of a customer first culture across the organisation. The role will also oversee the development and implementation of a range of coordinated strategies and programs to ensure there is an integrated approach to corporate planning and reporting, supporting the data and insights maturity of the Shire and ensure effective planning of Shire services in alignment with the Council Vision, Council Plan and other key strategies and Council policies.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive management experience with a demonstrated track record in leading change to improve customer experience and service outcomes.  Sound financial skills and proven experience developing and leading high performing teams are key requirements.  Strong communication skills and the ability to contribute as a key member of the leadership team will be important success factors.  A relevant tertiary qualification is required.
